Copyright and Your E-thesis
This training session is designed for all Postgraduate Research (PGR) students who want to gain a clear understanding of copyright and how it applies to their e-thesis. The session will explain Queen’s University’s requirements for e-thesis submission and the associated copyright considerations.
Participants will learn about:
- What copyright is and how it affects academic work
- The university’s e-thesis submission guidelines
- The concept of fair dealing and how it applies to research
- How to seek permission for copyrighted material
