Finding content at Queen's: effective searching using databases for Law postgraduate students

This course is presented by Subject Librarian, Deborah Wilson and is aimed at students who wish to explore using databases to retrieve both primary and secondary sources for their research in the School of Law. There will be time for any questions you may have about finding resources.

This course will be held online via MS Teams.  A link will be emailed to all participants in advance.

 Content:

  • Designing search strategies for your research topic
  • Accessing and searching secondary sources databases at Queen’s including IBSS and Web of Science
  • Accessing and searching key legal platforms at Queen’s, including Westlaw, Lexis and HeinOnline
