Open Access - The future of academic publishing
This session will provide an overview of open access and its benefits. It will cover a number of the new research funder open access policies including Plan S and the Wellcome Trust.
The course will conclude by looking at the new "Transformative" publisher agreements that Queen's has recently signed up to. "Transformative" agreements are a way for publishers to transition their subscription journals to full open access.
