Newspapers are in many ways the ultimate primary source, the “first draft of history”

They record accounts of observers and commentators as events unfold, providing political commentary and offering an insight into public opinion during particular times.

This course will provide an overview of content available at Queen’s and what you can expect when dealing with online historic newspaper archives.
